This project on Edgewood features a spacious interior with a A new kitchen and powder room on the 1st floor, 2nd and 3rd floor bathrooms are part of the interior renovation. Two new wood garage doors, exterior lighting and new stone driveway are part of the scope that ties into the sunroom addition.

The main concept was to enlarge the footprint of the sunroom to accommodate a larger family room and dining table. The facade comprises of durable cement board with a wood textured pattern that complements the window frames. Real light wood ceiling beams cross the new sunroom to enhance the beauty of its windows, ceiling and natural light. These beams are salvaged beams and locally sourced.

The original wood floors in the old dining room were removed to be reused as they had different sized planks, a challenge when the room became one large open plan.

The kitchen cabinets are walnut and countertops are white quartz with a carrara veined look. The design reflected the rustic style of this home and the mid-century modern style of the client. The island has a waterfall countertop for a clean look to carry the quartz pattern down to the floor. A large bench for additional seating at the dining area has additional storage drawers below.

Interior details are maintained in the new powder room doors and hardware. As finishing touches, concrete tiles are used as accent walls and floors in all 3 bathrooms.

For new lighting, a mix of brass wall sconces, chandeliers, white recessed downlights and glass pendant lights is used in kitchen, dining room, sunroom and bathrooms.

Grant House is a project that consists of the design of a new sunroom addition that replaced an old glass enclosure. The Witherbee House project is a 4,000 sq.ft. design of an existing four-story house and an addition of three porches and detached garage on a 20,000 sq.ft. lot at the top of a hill. All exterior elevations are redesigned to accommodate changes in the plan and interior spaces, giving this residence a new look that is contemporary and traditional. The exteriors are embraced with copper roofs, while the siding is a white shaker style cement board type. The porches have a contemporary look with natural teak ceilings and floor surfaces and stainless steel cable railings.

Inside, the new south addition is a home office off the master bedroom. The views are enhanced with large tempered glass double windows and dormers. A wood fireplace sits in the new living room and a gas fireplace sits in the new family room that is open to the kitchen area.

Due to the condition of this old house, the interior framing is reconstructed with sister joists, I-beams, steel beams and LVLs. New retailing walls, asphalt driveway and landscaping is part of the exterior design scope.

The backdrop are the mountains beyond the windows, and the backdrop on the walls is a large wall mural photograph in black & white. Strip the windows to show the original wood finish. Go darker wood and with a layer of sheen on the desk, it feels heavy and timeless. The desk rests on a rug with a pop of color, and art deco pattern simulating mountain peaks. A low couch welcomes to sit down low to the floor and relax, it's been a long day. The floors are heated below and cement tile reflects abstract mountains and subtle earthy tones, wood tones. An accent chair is plush and airy. Gold-toned hooks line up the wall, to hang the coats. Art with a thin walnut frame flanks desk. Ultra soft throw blankets are a must. A colorful thistle plant with an exotic look sits in the corner. The highlight is the golden metal Atollo lamp, and the snowy mountains beyond.

Grant II House has a beautiful story behind. The project consists of three-level renovation with the design of a new open concept kitchen and dining room, a new master bedroom suite with a walk-in closet and master bathroom with stand up shower.

The basement design incorporates a new utility room, laundry room and half bath. The basement is surrounded by a new waterproofing system and drainage system to help mitigate the water penetration typical in a high water table zone.

The Grant II House sits in a corner lot and receives full sunlight throughout the year.

The Monroe project reconfigures the 2 bedroom house into a 4 bedroom + 1 guestroom house into an open plan concept. We proposed a 2nd floor addition to incorporate a new master bedroom suite with cathedral ceilings, walk-in closet and bathroom. The plan is flexible for future demands, making a fourth bedroom an exercise room, study room, or an additional dressing room, as it is exposed to south and west light. The first floor plan is full of light, with an open pale green kitchen and home office or guest room with double access with french doors and a barn door. All interior finishes were selected to complement the taste of the owners for playful yet sophisticated design.

The Oak Lane House project is a full renovation of 3,500 sq.ft. area, with the design of a second floor addition for a master bedroom suite, a new covered front porch and backyard deck.

Two sets of double doors open to a large deck that spans the entire house, making it the place to sit, play and enjoy the views off the hilled yard.

With a rich tone of blue and white gable roofs, this house is located in a beautiful tree lined street.

A new white pergola will sit in the pressure treated wood deck to accommodate large parties and family gatherings.

This 18ft long x 11’ wide kitchen project invites guests to gather around the kitchen and spill into adjacent rooms as the party continues. The fresh and calming pale green color is incorporated into glass tiles as backsplash accent and above the cooktop hood. These add depth to the kitchen as well as a beautiful gloss all around.

The silver ombre pendants from West Elm reflect the black, stainless steel and white accents of the kitchen. The stools are clear acrylic to make the kitchen feel spacious and the weathered oak floors more visible. The sleek hood is flanked by cabinets with condiments and oils. An additional pendant provides task light above the double sink. The island provides 5 seating spaces with wine bottle compartments, book shelves and drawers for easy access to utensils and dinnerware. The Wolf cooktop has the signature red knobs.

Recreation Room is a renovation project of 620 sq.ft. footprint in a basement. The basement stair at the center of the room provides access to a sitting room and a ping pong table and arts and crafts table. Utility room and laundry room will be hidden off the clean rectangular footprint. Under stair closet provides storage space for all the fun ski equipment. Stair is finished in light gray low cut carpet, railing is unfinished poplar wood with black metal brackets, floor is finished in moisture resistant luxury vinyl tile over existing ceramic tile in a wood pattern, and the walls are finished with accent paint colors, wallpaper and framed kid's paintings.

The recreation room is conditioned with natural light and ventilation, recessed downlights, yet providing a cozy atmosphere of a sitting area.
